Annika is now 18 months old! She has quite a lot of personality! She loves many things including a snow hat that she puts on her head herself and her pacifier. I have never had a pacifier baby but I am very reluctant to give it up because when she doesn't have it she tends to whine and be really clingy.
She loves outside and says a lot of words including copying most of what you are saying when she is in the right mood. I ask her who is my baby and she says, "I baby". That is my favorite. She is very cuddly and cute to hold and enjoys giving hugs to everyone. She likes to play with people, balls, her dog, and whatever toys she can "steal" that are her sister's toys.
Annika weighed 24 pounds and was 34 inches tall. She is in the 50% for weight and the 95% for height.

as for the pacifier - when the time is right, try having the pacifier fairy come. kapria was 2 when we did it. we prepped her for a few weeks, then picked a day and said, "the pacy fairy is coming. let's get all your pacifiers together." we put them all in an envelope and sent them in the mail. then we checked the mail later in the day, and kapria had gotten a package back - a doll to take to bed instead of her pacifier. the first night was hard, but after that was pretty good. nicole did the same thing with weston and he got a bedtime elmo and new pjs.
